Scottish Electric Group will shortly commence Mechanical and Electrical work on a £830k project to build a new primary school in Armadale, West Lothian.
Awarded by Ogilvie Construction for ultimate client West Lothian Council, the new facility will include 8 classrooms, 2 general rooms, gym, dining room and nursery for 60 pupils. The project also includes the construction of a tarmac games area, car parking and a grass pitch.
The new building will incorporate energy saving technology such as photovoltaic panels on the roof, along with an increased insulation envelope and airtight design.
